Barb's life was a dream come true. She married her high school sweetheart. They had two beautiful daughters and a picturesque rustic cabin in the woods of Northern Idaho. 

But she could not live on the mountaintop forever, as God had other plans. Her husband was diagnosed with cancer, which prompted a move from the cabin in the woods to a house in the desert of Southern Idaho.

Could God be trusted to know what was best for her? Could He forgive her past and give purpose to her suffering for His greater glory? Even in depression … in rejection … in her husband’s dying?
